From the founder
Gold jewelry has a problem.
Most of it can't keep up with real life. It tarnishes after a few weeks. It turns your skin green. It comes with a list of things you're not supposed to do while wearing it.
Take it off before the shower. Take it off before the gym. Take it off before the pool. At some point it stops feeling like jewelry and starts feeling like a responsibility.
I started Taylor because I kept watching gold jewelry fail the people wearing it. It didn't make sense that looking good and living your life had to be two different things.
Every Taylor bead piece is made in New York with 18k gold bonded to stainless steel, the same process used on luxury watches. It's why our gold doesn't tarnish, fade or mark your skin, and why every piece has a lifetime color warranty.
Taylor is still small, and that's intentional. We'd rather make fewer pieces and make them well. If you're here, you probably care about the same things we do: quality that holds up, design that stays simple, and jewelry you can actually live in.

Every bead bracelet is made in New York on double-strung, pre-stretched elastic, so it rolls on easily and keeps its shape through everyday wear.
The process
Why our gold is different.
Traditional gold plating sits on the surface and wears down with water, sweat and friction. Our 18k gold is PVD-bonded to stainless steel, so it becomes part of the surface: harder and far more durable than plating.
