About our pearl bracelets
These are made with crystal beads, not cultured pearls. That is deliberate, and it is the reason you can wear them the way you wear everything else we make.
Real pearls are soft and porous. They are damaged by water, perfume, sweat and sunscreen, they need restringing, and they need to be stored apart from other jewelry so nothing scratches them. They are lovely, and they are demanding.
Crystal beads give the same luminous depth without any of that. They can go in the shower and the pool. They do not need special storage. The hardware is tarnish-free 18k PVD gold over stainless steel, so the metal will not let the piece down either.
Styling
Pearl sits naturally against gold — the warmth of the metal and the cool of the bead balance each other. A pearl bracelet between two gold bead bracelets is the easiest stack to get right, because the contrast does the work.
Stretch elastic, no clasp, fits wrists 6 to 8 inches. Handmade in Brooklyn.
