Is your jewelry hypoallergenic?
Yes. Our pieces are built on 316L stainless steel, one of the most skin-safe metals available. If jewelry usually irritates you, the cause is almost always nickel or copper in the base metal rather than the gold on the surface.
Most jewelry reactions are nickel allergies. Nickel is common in inexpensive alloys and is one of the most frequent contact allergens there is. Copper and brass cause a separate problem — the green staining that comes from oxidation rather than allergy.
316L stainless steel is the grade specified where prolonged skin contact matters. It is stable, does not oxidize and does not leach the metals that typically cause reactions.
Worth knowing: "hypoallergenic" is not a regulated term. It describes intent, not a guaranteed standard. What actually matters is the specific base metal, which is why we name ours rather than relying on the label.
Because the gold is bonded rather than coated, the steel underneath stays sealed even after years of wear — so a piece that is comfortable on day one stays comfortable.
